About Us
"Spiritual wellness through restoration, regeneration, and renewal"

We know that life can seem like a repetitive cycle of waking up, eating, working and sleeping. And that the daily grind can fill our minds and bodies with negative energy and stress. That’s why we created Rapha Place, so our community has a place to return to self-exploration, self-discovery, and sharing a journey with other like-minded individuals.

Fred Edwards and Wayne Jackson are the caretakers of Rapha Place. Because their individual spiritual journeys have been so different, they understand the importance of providing an array of opportunities for each person to experience their spirituality in their own individual way.

Fred’s Experience: Twenty-one years ago, I first visited the location where Rapha Place is now located. I was suffering from a chronic gastrointestinal problem. I was taking medication around the clock. The first weekend I stayed here, I worked around the property enjoying the peacefulness of the breeze blowing through the wheat or relaxing under the aged oak trees. It was then I realized that Sunday I had not taken my medicine and I was feeling great!

Wayne’s Experience: Although I have had a relationship with GOD dating back to my teenage years, I have spent most of my life on the fast train to the next stop. That changed a few years ago when I suffered a massive heart attack that required quadruple bypass surgery. My recovery took several grueling months. One of my requirements was to go walking each day. In the beginning I had to walk very slowly and while walking one day I began to see and hear and experience the property very differently. I saw the details of each individual tree and appreciated the intricacies of each individual leaf. I heard the various species of birds singing as if they were performing a harmonious symphony just for me. Suddenly, I found myself acknowledging the awe-inspiring nature and magnificence of this creation of GOD. And since that day, I try to make time to take in that beauty and with all of my senses with utmost gratitude.
